Prince of Persia: Lost Crown
Description
There’s almost no gamer out there who hasn’t played at least one Prince of Persia title. This franchise is legendary — and after a long break, it finally returns with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. And honestly, it feels great to see the series back in the spotlight again.
A lot of people are hating on this game just because it uses a 2.5D style, but personally, I think that’s what makes it special. The game blends modern Metroidvania-style exploration with classic Prince of Persia platforming, and the result is something fast, stylish, and extremely fun to play. Even in this format, the game keeps the soul of the series alive.
You play as Sargon, a young warrior who sets out on a rescue mission to save Prince Ghassan. The story takes you through Mount Qaf — a gorgeous but dangerous world full of mythical creatures, traps, puzzles, and time-twisted enemies. The mix of combat and platforming is incredibly smooth, especially once you unlock your Time Powers and start chaining combos.
What really makes this mobile version impressive is how well it’s optimized. The touch controls are redesigned from scratch for mobile, and you can fully customize button layouts to your liking. It also supports gamepads, which makes the experience even better. The optional assist features like auto-parry, auto-potion, and shield mode are also great for new players.
Visually, the game looks stunning on mobile — sharp animations, fluid movements, and beautiful environments. And the fact that you can try the game for free before unlocking the full adventure is a huge plus.
Overall, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a fantastic comeback, and I genuinely enjoyed it. Ignore the hate — the 2.5D style actually works brilliantly here. If you’re a fan of action, platformers, or classic Prince of Persia vibes, this is absolutely worth playing.
